Summer Mission Trips
An LOM mission trip is an impactful week where we serve alongside a local pastor to help bridge the community and the church. This life changing experience will open your eyes to the difficulties that people all around the world face on a day to day basis.
While working in different communities we serve the local church through service projects, home building, vacation bible schools, feeding programs, sports camps, and any other needs that may arrise. Our mission is to engage the community in ways that connects them to the local church; we want them to see the Church as a source of hope and help. By partnering with LOM on a mission trip, you are pouring into a ministry that doesn’t stop when you leave.
Frequently asked questions
What will i do?
During a mission week you will spend 6 full days working in the community. During a typical mission week you will do many things including; construction, working with children in our Hope Centers, and being a part of the local church services. While working in our Hope Centers you could help to serve food, do crafts, play games, and teach the children bible lessons. During a mission week you may have the opportunity to share your testimony or a lesson. We work to use your particular talents and abilities to help facilitate the most impactful week for you and the people of the communities we serve.
Is it safe?
Safety is a top priority. Your mission team will work in communities where we have built strong relationships. We always take precautions to ensure the safety of our teams on the ground. Our lodging arrangements are in safe locations and our delicious food is prepared by trained cook staff.
how much will it cost?
The price for each location varies. However, our price always includes food water and lodging, transportation to and from the local airport and all you need to minister throughout the week. When pricing your trip we can provide a price with or without airfare.
Note for certain construction trips, teams may be required to bring tools and materials for the project.
